3-Strikers Quilt

The Orange County Chapter of FACTS is putting together a 3-Striker Quilt. It will have pictures of 3-strikers with non-violent offenses. Our purpose is to gain the attention of the public and California politicians. We want every 3-striker to be on this quilt. We hope to keep it going, adding panel after panel. We want to put a 'face' on every striker case. We will display it at conferences, etc and when we have a 'decent' amount of panels, we will display it on the sidewalk of the State Capitol.

Each panel is $50 and a photo of the prisoner, with name, offense and length of sentence. Photo may be inside or outside prison. We will blow-up to aprox 5 x 7 size. $20 will be set aside for any future possibility of funding an iniatative. Monthly payments of any amount are available.

ONLY STRIKERS WHO COMMITTED "NON_VIOLENT" LAST STRIKES WILL BE INCLUDED ON THE QUILT.

We want those who do not have loved ones as strikers to 'sponsor' a striker. People can pool their money together to sponsor someone. FACTS has a list of 150 strikers that they have judged from their database as the 'Top 150 3-Strike Stories.' Those donations not assigned to a specific prisoner will first go to the top 100-list.
