FACTS was involved in two activities in So. California on Saturday, April 29th.

At Claremont there was a conference titled "Education or Incarceration: Where Do We Go From Here?" at the Claremont Forum. Among the speakers were Devi Coyle of the Calironia Prison Focus (click here to hear some of his comments) and Professor Alan Jones of Pitzer College (click here to hear some of his comments).

Also, on the annviersary of the Los Angeles riots/rebellion there was a march to the intersection of Florence and Normandie where a demonstration took place--including the burning of the confederate flag. Among the many speakers was a rapper (click here to hear some of his rap).
