May 9th: Three Strikes featured in Salon
The online magazine Salon did a story on Three Strikes that was posted
on May 9th. Included were comments by Minority Assembly leader Scott Baugh
indicating that the 3-strikes law should be changed to exclude petty thefts and
drug possession cases. Not sure whether the comments were made recently or if
the comments were dug up from old news clips over a year ago. The article in
