The 3rd Annual FACTS Fundraiser Dinner in Los Angeles was a great success as many more people than expected came to attend. Rev. James Lawson, the keynote speaker, gave a passioned speach about justice and equality, and U.S. Rep. Maxine Waters was awarded by FACTS for her many efforts to speak out against the so-called "War on Drugs."

Other people awarded at the dinner were Faithful Central Bible Church, Fidel Rodriguez (host and producer of the radio show "Seditious Beats"), Doug Kieso, Geralyn Busnardo, Dennis Duncan, Barbara Brooks, Jennifer Kieso, Geri Silva, and Carmen Ewell.
