Barbara Brooks' son, Jeff, was sentenced to 25 years-to-life on Friday, Feb. 5th. Barbara and Jeff want to thank all those who sent letters or attended the trials and sentencing hearing and hope we can get this law changed soon.

The Legislative Analyst's Office updated a report on the 3-strikes law. Basically the report gave a summary of the characteristics of the people sentenced under the 3-strikes law and the type of last or triggering strike they committed.
