Action outside of California

Action YOU can take to help amend the 3-Strikes law even though you live outside of California

1. Write a letter to us by e-mail at factsla@sbcglobal.net and express your thoughts on how you think California's Three Strikes law appears inhumane and unjust. If we get enough letters, we will post them in a special section on our website (you can see a few examples in our miscellaneous section).

2. Create a sign that says something about amending California's Three Strikes law and take a picture of you holding it in front of a well-known scene in your state or country (or perhaps the sign of your city or state). In fact, try to get as many people in the scene as possible who also have the opinion that the California Three Strikes law is unjust. Send a picture of you and the sign to us and we will post it on our web site (if we get enough pictures, we can set up a special gallery). Perhaps you could also add some negative comments about Governor Gray Davis--the current "General of California Gulags."

3. Perhaps start your own organization. Activily meet, write California Three Strikers, demonstrate in your state or country. Also you can try to generate stories in your local media about how bad the California Three Strikes law is, and how your concern for common humanity even has you demonstrating outside of California.

4. Perhaps try a letter writing campaign to California politicians and the California news media expressing your concern for the inhumane aspects of the California Three Strikes law.

5. Perhaps try to start a boycott of California products (similar to the way people boycotted everything from South Africa to protest apartheid).

YOU AND A FEW FRIENDS CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
