Dear friends.

I am sitting here many thousand miles away, in a little country, and my "American Dream" is totally broken. What I want to say is:

Some days ago I watched the TV, it was a program about 3-Strikes. I knew a little before I saw it on TV, because I emailed a girl whose boyfriend is a 3-Striker (non violent). I am speachless, and I cannot find words to express my harm. I thought America was a well developed country, and especially the state of California, but it seems to me, that the truth is different. I agree with so many other people, that 3-Strikes is a good idea to keep the violence and murdering at a minimum, but using it as it is used know, is a big harm to human rights! What is the difference between the system of law in California, and the way people are treated in China, Turkey and so on? I just wonder.

That was just my opinion from far away.

You are doing a great job, and you are fighting for justice, keep on fighting, keep on telling the rest of the world what is going on over there in "sunny" California, where the sun shines on some and not on others. I pray to God that your work one day will change the inhuman in human.
