Out-of-state mother of 3-striker
My son Daniel, was convicted to 25 years to life. one for burg. 1983;
robbery 1991; and possible intent to manufacture meth. convicted 10-22-99. I
know he may be a menace, but Life? Where are the guns, killing someone or
molesting children?
He's always indulged, {in drugs}, but never admitted to
courts. I as much as anyone, would like drugs and guns off of our streets. I'm
a recovering alcoholic,many years clean and sober. Asked courts many occasions
to refer him to drug counceling and or AA, but to no avail. He has two
teenagers and has been doing well last two years. This last charge was
predetermined to throw the book at him. For one time these charges were untrue.
There must be some other way to use a life! Are the institutions getting more
bucks for 25 years to lifers?
We all know the criminal justice system needs
overhauling, I will try to do my part. I'm writing letters and discussing with
anyone who will listen. Asking people to tune into your websight.
We
need this amended now!
Non violent crimes are different.
