Three Strikes And You're Out: Vengeance As Public Policy

edited by David Shicor & Dale K. Sechrest

David Shicor and Dale K. Sechrest have edited a book on the 3-Strikes Law which has a heavy emphasis on the State of California. The book is published by Sage Publications: Thousand Oaks, 1996. You can call them at (805) 499-0721, and if you have a credit card, you can order it for about $29. There are 12 articles written by various criminologists. Most of the book was written at the time the 3-Strikes Law in California was being passed, and therefore generally reflects anticipated outcomes of what will happen when the 3-Strikes law is passed.
