My name is Sean Heartley, and I am a resident of Pelican Bay State Prison. They
convicted me of possession for sales to an undercover officer. I am a three striker and I
received twenty-five years to life for this case of possession, which the amount off
cocaine was 0.13
I did not sell the narcotic. My crimie sold it, which received six months. He sold the
cocaine to the undercover office and they caught him with the marked money, but saw the
officermy crime get a piece of cocaine from me. That implicated me in the case. So they
charged me with possession for sales to an undercover officer. I did not personally sale
anything nor did I get caught with any marked money or cocaine.
This is what happen and you may use this information in any way possible that will
help you or the cause. If you can help me in any way, and I you me, let me know please.
During my appeal they denied me in the Second Appellate District and the California
Supreme Court, and now I am in the Federal Court. I have a year to file my case in the
Federal Court that would be December 17, 1998 and I have no idea what to do. I am hoping
that the concern person on the streets that this law continues to strive for results and
change in the language has affected which the law speaks concerning the three strikes.
Thank you for listening and please keep me informed about your results.
