3-Strike Stories: Michael
Name and Family History:
Michael born Sept 58 his dad walked out on us in 68 it hurt him very bad. I raised him
my myself. At 17 he went into the service that is where he started drinking. When he came
home he tried to get help for his problem. But the system said no.
Strikes:
In 88 my son spent 3 years in prison, a family dispute.
Story:
My son spent 3 years in prison because of a family argument. Since then the system has
it in for him ever time they see him out they stop him. He is serving 8 years now. They
said for robbery the only thing that's very wrong. They are trying to strike him again for
what happened in 1988 and they brought more time called an embarrassment against him for
what happened in 1988. He served his time that should be the end of it. My son never
physically hurt any body. Only his self with his drinking. He has begged to go to rehab
but they refused to help him.
Comments:
As far as I'm concerned the system stinks. They are using the 3 strike law for the
wrong things.
