3-Strike Stories: Dennis Cisneros

Hello my friend’s, my name is Dennis Cisneros #b-99525. At this time I am incarcerated in state prison. I am doing 51 years with approximately (2) life sentence’s. My I add, for (2) two different crimes. I received 25 years to life for .12 gram’s of heroin, (Possession of heroin), and for those of you that don’t know how much .12 grams are, it’s just about $10.00 worth of heroin on the streets.

I also received 26 years to life for a second degree burglary.

At this time I would like to define this charge, and I am still denying my guilt!

I went into a store, during the day and I was arrested for attempt to steal $181.00 worth of wrist watches.

Now I understand the reason why I was given all this time in prison, but does one really understand the law? What it really means? Well to be honest, and complete with you! I know nothing. The law in general, is one tough cookie! Even to try to understand the law, is confusing and when I was forced to trial on both of my case’s! That was the first time, I felt lost. I don’t understand, I never killed no-one, and I’m doing life! I wouldn’t even wish a court trial on my worst enemy. Fortunately I had a paid attorney, or was I? My wife lost everything, because she believed in the system. I don’t know how much money my wife spent, but I’m sure it was well over $40,000.00. At this point in time, my wife no-longer has money, jewelry, or a roof over my children’s and wife’s head.

What a price to pay for some one’s life, freedom, and American dream.

Well at this point in time, I don’t no the where about of my family. I guess my point would be, if one is ever in a court trial situation, your better off with the P.D., a public defender, because you’ll end up with the same time, but you will save a lot of money. No , my friends, I’m not blaming paid attorney’s because this new law even got their hands tied. I guess I’m just mad, and letting off steam, and I lost so much. What a price to pay for something so mi-nute....

My friends, a friend to a friend, take time off to understand the law, (preferably the Three Strike’s and your out law), because this law mean’s what it say’s.

Believe me my friend’s! It ain’t nothing nice to loose everything in the world.

With this new law, anyone I subject to fall, fall real hard, under this new law....anybody.....
