3-Strike Story: John Conteras

My name is John. I left behind three children and now my mother is a widow.

The Judge is my case was Frederic L. Link. The Appellate Attorney said Romero didn’t apply. This was in San Diego, county, California.

I was released from CRC, one month later I was arrested for D.U.I. with a fatal injury, within this month I gained custody of my son and was in the process of getting custody of his twin and sister.

I also lost my Dad recently, so my mother is lonely, but surviving. They are all suffering tremendously. I made sure my son had breakfast and took him to school. If there was any indication about this new law coming into effect. I would not have plead guilty to assault in 1980 or plead guilty to robbery after a hung jury in 1985 which was for taking a purse.
