3-Strike Cases from Senator Barbara Lee's Office
The following cases were presented in a letter from Senator Barbara Lee's office to
demonstrate how the 3-Strikes law has been applied.
Robert Loomis, Case #VA021003: Current offense burglary for theft of $37 calculator.
Two residential burglary priors from 1986 and 1989.
Jeffrey Gore, Case #GA020704: Current offense possession .18 g. cocaine. Two robbery
priors in one case in 1986.
Case #FA020508: Current offense petty theft with a prior and burglary for theft of one
shirt from store. Two robbery priors from 1976 and 1986.
Case #GA020254: Current offense possession .34 g cocaine. Two priors for residential
burglary from 1982 and 1984.
Case #GA021031: Current offense petty theft with prior for theft of one shirt from a
store. Two priors for robbery from 1977 and 1985.
Case #VA022046: Current offense petty theft with a prior for theft of four pairs of
Levi pants. One prior for robbery from 1982, one prior for residential burglary from 1988.
Case #GA021129: Current offense possession of 1.46 g methamphetamine. Two priors for
residential burglary in 1994.
Case #BA104026: Current offense petty theft with prior for theft of mens underwear
from store; one prior for robbery and manslaughter from a 1986 incident.
Case #NA022776: Current offense possession .5 g methamphetimine. Three priors for
residential burglary from 1979, 1981, 1987.
Case #VA021121: Current offense commercial burglary and petty theft with a prior for
theft of 3 bottles of liquor. Two priors for robbery from 1976 and 1979, one for
residential burglary in 1992.
